          Quick wins
Tailor your resume for each job by mirroring the exact language from the description.
Put your most impressive achievement first in each role.
Quantify everything. Increased sales by 30 percent beats increased sales.
Keep it to one page unless you have 10 or more years of experience.

          Networking tips
          Most jobs are never posted
80 percent of jobs are filled through networking. One connection beats 100 cold applications.
Ask for a 15-minute informational call, much easier yes than asking for a job.
Message alumni from your school. Shared background creates instant warmth.
Send a thank-you email within 24 hours of every interview.

          You are not alone
Rejection is not about your worth. It is often about fit, budget, or timing.
Set a daily application limit so job hunting does not consume your whole day.
Take real days off. Rest is not laziness, it is sustainability.
Celebrate process wins. Sending 5 apps today is a real win.

Creator of Pip • Recent grad • Still waddling forward

Hi. My name is Alec, and I built Pip because I needed him.

I graduated college full of hope, ready to start my career โ€” and then I ran straight into one of the hardest job markets in years. What followed was months of cold applications sent into the void, getting ghosted after final interviews, and scrolling through social media only to see post after post confirming what I already feared: this market is brutal.

It got to me. Really got to me. The anxiety crept in slowly, then all at once. I found myself lying awake wondering will this ever end? I felt invisible. I felt behind. I felt like everyone else had figured something out that I had not.

But I refused to give up.

I built Pip because every job tracker I tried felt cold and clinical โ€” just rows and columns that made the rejection feel even more like a number. I did not need a spreadsheet. I needed something that understood. Something warm. Something that would sit next to me at 2am and say hey, you are doing better than you think.

That is Pip. A little penguin who has been through it too. He will not promise you a job โ€” but he will promise to be in your corner every single step of the way.

If you are reading this, you are probably in the middle of it right now. And I just want you to know: I see you. I am right there with you. There is light at the end of the tunnel โ€” for both of us.

          Pip
          Thank you for being here.
Every person who uses Pip means the world to me. I built this for you โ€” for all of us who are still out there trying, every single day.
